Description of works:
M&A Roarty Construction, on behalf of Enterprise built a 25m Ř concrete
segmental underpinned storage tank, 14m deep. It included the
construction of a 1.5m wide in situ concrete dividing wall within the shaft.
During construction M&A Roarty excavated and built an unprecedented
4 no. 1m deep, rings during a single 5 day week.
Additionally twin 1000mm tunnels Ř of 50m and 120m in length by
pipejack and associated shafts were constructed.
On line open cut replacement of a total of approx 1.4km of sewer
ranging from 300mm diameter to 900mm diameter was also carried out by
M&A Roarty Construction.
