Description of works: 

M&A Roarty Construction, on behalf of Morrison Utility Services installed
2400m of clean water main, from 125mm to 250mm in opencut 
trench. A further 5678m of main was laid by directional drilling and 1425m 
of main laid using pipe bursting. These were installed in the period 
from mid 2005 to April 2006. The contract is continuing. 

The associated service connections on each run were also replaced by 
M&A Roarty Construction Ltd.

Throughout, every effort was made to minimise disrution to both traffic and 
to local residents. Letters of commendation were also received from residents
associations, and our operatives received awards from Morrison Utility 
Services for their excellent work, and for the customer care they demonstrated.

First Time Reinstatement was applied in virtually all cases.
